Matthew McConaughey (r) basks in the warm embrace of UT football coach, friend, and fan Mack Brown at a special Austin Film Society screening of Sahara at the Paramount Theatre on March 20. Aside from prowling the sidelines at Darrell K. Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium during Longhorn games, this was McConaughey's first major appearance in Austin since the 10-year reunion of Dazed and Confused's cast and crew. Sahara also stars Penélope Cruz and Steve Zahn. It opens today, Friday, April 8.
