aGLIFF Announces Winners

The Austin Gay & Lesbian International Film Festival has announced its winners.

The Austin Gay & Lesbian International Film Festival, which saw more than 13,000 people attend this year's 157 offerings in 60 programs from Aug. 21 to Sept. 1, has announced its winners, which have been determined by audience balloting with more than 1,400 votes tabulated. They are:

Best Feature Film: Tipping the Velvet Parts I-III (D: Geoffrey Sax)

Best Documentary: No Secret Anymore: The Times of Del Martin & Phyllis Lyon (D: Joan E. Biren)

Best Girls' Short Film: "The Ten Rules" (D: Lee Friedlander)

Best Boy's Short Film: "Foxhole" (D: Franko Galoso)
