TV to Air Simulcast Celbrity Benefit

The Big Four networks announce decision to air a simulcast celebrity benefit to aid victims of the terrorist attacks.

In an unprecedented show of solidarity, the Big Four networks (ABC, CBS, NBC, and Fox) have agreed to jointly broadcast a celebrity benefit Friday, Sept. 21, 8-10pm, to raise funds for families affected by the terrorist attacks. Other networks committed to air the special include Telemundo, HBO, HBO Latino, UPN, and the WB, with more expected. Celebrities slated to appear in America: A Tribute to Heroes run the gamut from George Clooney to Will Smith to Faith Hill.
