Women’s March Austin, one of many held across the country on Sat., Oct. 17, in protest of President Trump’s nomination of Amy Coney Barrett to the U.S. Supreme Court, was met by a Proud Boys rally. A Southern Poverty Law Center designated hate group, the Proud Boys claimed they had reserved the site of the march, Downtown’s Wooldridge Park, at the same time. (Austin’s homegrown conspiracy theories propagator, InfoWars, also showed up.)
