The Grand Designs of Ia Ensterä and Jason Amato

As noted in the All Over Creation column "In Praise of Designers", two of Austin's most accomplished theatrical designers are soon to leave town. Scenic designer Ia Ensterä and lighting designer Jason Amato have each contributed award-winning designs to scores of productions over many, many seasons. In recognition of their outstanding work, here is a small sampling of their designs, accompanied by the written appreciations of Chronicle Arts writers.
