Texas Conservation Corps: Dove Springs Flood, 2013

In the weeks following the Halloween floods that impacted Dove Springs, the Texas Conversation Corps, a program of American YouthWorks with volunteers from AmeriCorps, have filled work orders for homes damaged by the flood waters. Door frames and other pieces of wreckage sit outside of a structurally damaged home that TxCC is clearing for renovation. TxCC was instrumental in the initial clean-up after the Bastrop County Complex Fire of September, 2011. See related story, Lost Pines Found.
