The inaugural "POP Austin" international art show happened Oct. 17-19 at the new Fair Market event center on East Fifth Street in East Austin. The three-day showcase offered art for sale from dozens of global contemporary artists, including Andy Warhol, Mr. Brainwash, Shepard Fairey,
and local talent Todd Sanders and Tony Diaz. The melting GoodPop served as a beacon to the exhibition, stationed at the corner of Cesar Chavez & Congress before being moved to Fair Market for the show.
