March and Rally to End Hate Crimes

Members of the qmmunity and allies marched from Fourth Street to the Capitol on Saturday night, Feb. 1, to raise awareness about the recent uptick in hate crimes. Speakers included Jessica Soukup, Austin Black Pride’s Sheldon Darnell, activists Candace Aylor and Naomi Wilson, Shane Whalley, and victims of the Jan. 19 Austin attack Spencer Deehring and Tristan Perry.
