Neighbors and volunteer groups formed the muscle of the Bastrop County Long Term Recovery Team, the nonprofit responsible for putting over 80 families back into homes in 2013, after the blaze from the Bastrop County Complex Fire of September, 2011, the most destructive wildfire in Texas history that took out over 32,000 acres, including many, many acres of loblolly pine, pictured here.
