This Saturday, October 25, the Bob Bullock Texas History Museum opens "La Belle: The Ship That Changed History" – the story of the excavation of French explorer Robert de LaSalle's fated ship which sank in the inlets of Matagorda Bay in the late 1600s, then was discovered and recovered in the 1990s.
