Supporters of Democratic candidate Beto O’Rourke, who is challenging Republican Ted Cruz for his Senate seat, came out Saturday, April 14, for Barnstorming With Beto at The Long Time, a sandlot baseball field/event space in East Austin. The fundraiser included a baseball game between O'Rourke's home team, Los Diablitos de El Paso, and the local Texas Playboys Baseball Club, and music by Britt Daniel of Spoon, Ben Kweller, and the Tender Things, among others.
