This is one rendering of what the Waller Creek outlet into Lady Bird Lake could look like under a public-private plan for the Waller Creek revitalization project. This proposal is by the CMG and Public Architecture team, one of four finalists in “Design Waller Creek: A Competition.” All four proposals are on display this month, with upcoming dates at Northwest Rec Center (Thursday, Sept. 27), Cantu Pan American Rec Center (Friday, Sept. 28), Downtown Farmers Market (Saturday, Sept. 29), and HOPE Market (Sunday, Sept. 30).

The Waller Creek Conservancy will also host a benefit concert featuring Gary Clark Jr. and special guest Wheeler Brothers at Stubb’s on Wednesday, Oct. 10, followed by the announcement of the winning concept Oct. 18. See details from all the designs and read about the conservancy at www.wallercreek.org.
