2018 Primary Election Preview: Travis Co. Races

Out of 11 Democratic incumbents running for re-election in Travis County government, only two have drawn primary opponents: Precinct 4 (southeast) County Commissioner Margaret Gómez and Precinct 3 (southwest) Justice of the Peace Susan Steeg. Democrats will also elect a new party chair, following the announced resignation of Vincent Harding.
