Chronicle Endorsements

From local elections to the dreaded presidential race, here's who we recommend

The Chronicle editorial board offers the following endorsements in advance of early voting (Oct. 24 through Nov. 4) and election day, Tuesday, Nov. 8. The Chronicle only issues endorsements for contested races, so if you're not seeing an endorsement for a position, that's because a candidate is running uncontested. We urge readers to be thorough with their ballots, and cast a vote in (almost) every race.
