Rep. Molly White wants to protect Texas from the UN's sustainability agenda

Bill of the Week

House Bill 1654

Filed: Feb. 19, 2015
Author: Rep. Molly White, R-Belton

Oh boy, here come the angry letters from conspiracy theorists. Ever heard of Agenda 21? It's a pretty innocuous, if overly wordy, United Nations document from 1992, laying out broad, voluntary guidelines for countries to move toward more sustainable policies. But here's the real kicker. This doesn't put White on the extreme wing of the Republican party.
