Lamar and Braker, NE corner. A testament to design insanity: Pedestrians coming west along Lamar must walk through a storm drain to cross the road.

What's the worst sidewalk you know? We're looking for the most dangerous, badly designed, impassable, and poorly maintained stretches in Austin – and who knows your own neighborhood's failures better than you do?

So send us photos or videos of the worst places for pedestrian disasters in your community — with location and submitter's name clearly identified. You can email us at sidewalkfail@austinchronicle.com, tag us on Facebook, or tweet us @austinchronicle with the hashtag #sidewalkfail.

And you can view the resulting gallery of shame at austinchronicle.com/sidewalkfail.
