Health & Human Services' Black Church Outreach Project, Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary, and Rosewood Recreation Center, are sponsoring an East Austin HIV/AIDS State of Urgency March & Rally in observance of National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness and Information Day on Saturday, 1-5pm. Participants will rally at the Capitol south steps at 1pm, and then carpool to Ebenezer Baptist Church (1010 E. 10th) at 2pm. At 2:30, they will march 1.4 miles to Rosewood Rec Center (1182 N. Pleasant Valley), where free HIV antibody testing will be provided, along with food, music, and fellowship. For more info, call 406-6165 or e-mail
