Austin Metro Trails and Greenways will host a Town Lake Trail Charrette to plan improvements to the Town Lake Trail. The planning session, in which participants will strategize in small groups, is open to the public and will be held from 9am-1pm on Saturday, April 15, in the Third Floor Training Room of One Texas Center, 505 Barton Springs Rd. The Corporation for Affordable Housing will sponsor a Lenten Forum on Economic Justice on Thursday, April 13, at 6pm. The City Council candidate forum will focus on the Community Action Network and Austin's health and human services delivery system; it will be followed on Friday, April 14, with a march to Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison's office to lobby for universal health care, affordable housing, and to cancel Third World debt. Both events will take place at Our Lady's Family Center, 1817 E. Sixth.
