Streets will be blocked off to traffic between Lavaca and I-35, from Second to 11th Streets; barricades go up at 5pm Friday, Dec. 31.

Live Music Stages

There will be two stages, facing each other on opposite ends of Congress Ave. The entertainment is free, although about 1,600 reserved-seating tickets will be sold for $100-150.

  • The Robert Earl Keen and Shawn Colvin stage is between Second and Third, facing north.

  • The Lyle Lovett and Kelly Willis stage is between Ninth and 10th, facing south.

    The ESCA "Star-Raise"

    The East Sixth Street Community Association has been holding its own New Year's event for the past six years: a midnight "star-raise" at Sixth and Trinity, in the heart of the Sixth Street Entertainment District.
