AISD will hold a series of community meet-ings for residents to give input on the current drafts of the attendance zones for elementary, middle, and high schools in the entire district. Residents' comments will be presented to the board April 20 and incorporated into the final plans the board will consider. The following is a schedule of these community meetings, school boundary public hearings, and AISD's regular board meetings.

  • April 2: Community Meeting 6:30pm Austin High School, 1715 W. Cesar Chavez
  • April 6: Community Meeting 6:30pm Bowie High School, 4103 W. Slaughter
  • April 7: Community Meeting 6:30pm Crockett High School, 5601 Manchaca
  • April 8: Community Meeting 6:30pm Johnston High School, 1112 Arthur Stiles
  • April 13: Regular Board Meeting 6:30pm AISD Headquarters, 1111 W. Sixth
  • April 14: Community Meeting 6:30pm Reagan High School, 7104 Berkman
  • April 15: Community Meeting 6:30pm McCallum High School, 5600 Sunshine
  • April 16 Community Meeting 6:30pm Travis High School, 1211 E. Oltorf
  • April 20: Boundary Work Session 6:30pm AISD Headquarters, 1111 W. Sixth
  • April 21: Public Hearing on final drafts 6:30pm; Travis High, 1211 E. Oltorf
  • April 22: Public Hearing on final drafts 6:30pm; Travis High, 1211 E. Oltorf
  • April 27: Regular Board Meeting, possible boundaries vote; AISD Headquarters, 1111 W. Sixth
