Slick intro "Tooth Ache" induces the work's weighted trance, layering bendy guitar swells over light, persistent percussion. Yearning "Cold Spell" and luxurious, theological-alluding "Black Madonna, So Divine" nudge at a sweeping romanticism, ruminating on the interplay of intimacy and introspection.
