Plying roadhouse rousers and pure Texas honky-tonk, Heinrich's rough Cash-like bass drawl and sense of humor are thoroughly bred in the barroom. "Drama Queen" and "Too Much Whiskey" pack wry, bottom-of-the-bottle wisdom balanced by the political kick of "The American Wall" and "Yesterday's News." "Twenty Thousand Reasons" and "She Grabbed a Knife" offer some rocking country swagger, but little versatility overall.
