Clear to the Far Side of Way Over Yonder
Emo is as emo does. Local fivepiece the Drawing Board, led by brothers Justin and Brandon Tapp, have the formula down. Lush sounds and pitch-perfect harmonies even combat the former Los Angelenos' influences. Once the kick drum hits and the hooks start drooling ("Something I Can't Have"), however, one can't help but giggle. Thank God for guilty pleasures.
