Skunked: Jesse Sublett will sign copies of his harrowing new memoir Never the Same Again (Murder! Cancer! Punk rock!), 5pm, Friday, at Waterloo Records. Sublett-led Austin Music Awards showstoppers Class of '78 will do an encore performance, hopefully including the Velvet Underground's "White Light/White Heat" again.
The Back Room heard an unfamiliar tune Saturday: “Wedding March.” Dusty Kohn of explosivo pop-punkers Dynamite Boy and fiancée Mindy Orsak tied the knot after DB's set, the rest of the band acting as groomsmen. Club owner Mark Olivarez threw in a hotel room for the night as a gift. Mazel tov!
