I Scream Social: Anthology Release Party

This reading series at Malvern, hosted by Annar Veröld and Schandra Madha, features women and nonbinary poets and fiction writers from Austin – and now they're celebrating the launch of I Scream Social Anthology Vol. 2, a book showcasing writers from the past two years of the series. Plus, ice cream. And an open mic. And live music from Little Mazarn. Fri., Feb. 28, 6:45-9pm.

Julie Howd: Threshold

The Massachusetts-based author's newest collection of poetry is the recipient of the Spring 2020 Host Publications Chapbook Prize, and she'll be reading from it here tonight. Sat., Feb. 29, 7pm.

Literary Sunday at Malvern

The first day of March springs up literary all afternoon long here, with Sarah Harris Wallman presenting her story collection Senseless Women (1pm), scientist-poets Lisa Rosenberg and Adrienne Drobnies reading from their works (4pm), and Kim Yideum and Jiyoon Lee bilingually revealing their Korean novel Blood Sisters (6pm). Sun., March 1.
