The fate of this homey 'hood P.O. is unclear. A neighborhood group says that the U.S.P.S. lease on the property is up in 1999 and then the post office will be gone. The station manager would say only that mail carrier distribution will move to a new South Austin station at South Congress & Ben White next year. Window service until 3pm on Saturdays.
