AC Food Fight: Lobster Rolls
Dock & Roll and Garbo's get their claws out

Some say the noble lobster roll was invented when Lee Radziwill, lecturing Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis on the crassness of her striped twinset, momentarily lost herself in gesticulation and dropped her hot dog off the side of Aristotle's yacht. Not one to let a good bun go to waste, she promptly dove into the sea, returning with the makings of a culinary masterpiece. I won't bore my readers with things like veracity, but the fact is that lobster rolls are the stuff of legend. But is there a local roll that is fit for American royalty? We're calling tails in the Austin Chronicle Food Fight.
