AC Food Fight: Chicken Sandwiches

All harm, all fowl

Ever wonder where the phrase "winner, winner, chicken dinner" came from? Some say it comes from Seventies Las Vegas, but what do they know? We think it comes from the tradition of chicken sandwiches engaging in winner-takes-all combat. In Austin, two new players have entered the arena. Will one of them prove to be poultry in motion? Or are they both just winging it? Feathers will fly in our Austin Chronicle Food Fight.
