› Theatre Action Project and Central Market (4001 N. Lamar) present Cupcake-a-Doodle-Do, a throwdown for the best cupcake in town between some of Austin's best bakeries, with live music, arts & crafts, and storytelling. A $5 suggested donation supports TAP programs. Saturday, Oct. 22, noon-3pm.

› Satellite Bistro & Bar (5900 Slaughter #400) celebrates 12 years in business with an AnniverSoiree featuring live music from the Copa Kings and $5 raffle tickets for some great prizes. Saturday, Oct. 22, 7pm.
