› Theatre Action Project and Central Market (4001 N. Lamar) present Cupcake-a-Doodle-Do, a throwdown for the best cupcake in town between some of Austin's best bakeries, with live music, arts & crafts, and storytelling. A $5 suggested donation supports TAP programs. Saturday, Oct. 22, noon-3pm.

Satellite Bistro & Bar (5900 Slaughter #400) celebrates 12 years in business with an AnniverSoiree featuring live music from the Copa Kings and $5 raffle tickets for some great prizes. Saturday, Oct. 22, 7pm.

› Faraday's Kitchen Store (1501-A RR 620 N.) hosts a two-part gluten-free baking series with chef Kate Payne. The first week focuses on pie, the second on breads and muffins. $89; call 266-5666 to make reservations. Saturdays, Oct. 22 & 29, 10am-noon.

› Max's Wine Dive (207 San Jacinto) and Lasco Enter­prises host the Austin Cellar Classic with tastes of 75 wines, finger foods, live music, and souvenir glasses. $40 admission; $100 VIP admission includes premier limited-edition wines and an expanded menu at Black Door Wine Lounge. › European-Bistro (111 E. Main St., Pflug­er­ville) hosts a four-course Hungarian feast and concert presented by Keskeny Ferenc & His Gypsy Band. $65, all-inclusive. Sunday, Oct. 23, 5pm.
