• It's Not Your Grandmother's Sherry Tasting when the party is hosted by Tim League at the HighBall (1142 S. Lamar, 383-8309). Sample a variety of Sherries with eclectic food pairings. $54 per person, reservations necessary. Sunday, Feb. 13, 6pm.
• Secret Circus is a modern take on a 1920s-era cabaret with music, fashion, and art complemented by a four-course dinner prepared by Hosteria Verde Supper Club and cocktails by Lucky 13. • Fonda San Miguel (2330 W. North Loop) will donate 10% of proceeds from food sales on Feb. 14 & 15 to the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians, in honor of longtime customer and HAAM founder Robin Shivers. Valentine's Day is already fully booked.
