Presented by Capital Area Food Bank of Texas

Waterloo Park at 12th & Trinity

11am-5:30pm

FREE (Bring three nonperishable food items for the Capital Area Food Bank of Texas.)


[Free parking available in Capitol Visitors Parking Garage and Garage F.]


Food vendors will provide a wide array of foods. This year the following restaurants will be on hand serving up their specialty dishes: Buffalo Billiards, Curra's, Matt's El Rancho, Oaxacan Tamaleo, Opal Divine's, and Sun Garden Shaved Ice. Chips for the tasting tent will be donated by H-E-B.


Featuring Emcee for Life, KGSR's Bryan Beck & live music on the Planet K stage from:

Black Joe Lewis & the Honey Bears 4-5:15pm

The Band of Heathens 2:30-3:30pm

The Jungle Rockers 1-2pm

Fingerpistol Noon-12:30pm

Girl in the Closet 11am-11:30am


Proceeds from the daylong raffle to benefit the Capital Area Food Bank of Texas.


No dogs, no coolers.


Beginning on August 24, Capital Metro's Fall Services go into effect. The following routes will get you to the Hot Sauce Festival:

Route 7 Duval/Dove Springs service every 30-35 minutes on Sunday

Route 10 South First/Red River service every 30 minutes on Sunday

Route 20 Manor Road/Riverside service every 30 minutes on Sunday

Capital Metro has more than a dozen ways to get you to the Hot Sauce Festival. After all the sauce and sun, Capital Metro is a great way to chill out and make it home safely. All will drop you off within a block of the park!
