Enjoy live music, food and beer specials, and a raffle for a chance to win two three-day passes to the Austin City Limits Festival. Sunday, July 13, 3-10pm.
The Texas Culinary Academy (11400 Burnet Rd., www.txca.com) celebrates the French culinary heritage of their Cordon Bleu program with a gala fête commemorating Bastille Day with chef demonstrations, food and wine tastings, a six-course French wine dinner at Ventana Restaurant ($75), and an engaging culinary symposium. The owners of Austin's favorite French bistro, Chez Nous (510 Neches, 473-2413), invite their customers to enjoy a special à la carte dinner menu in celebration of Bastille Day. Monday, July 14, 6-10pm.
Aquarelle (606 Rio Grande, 479-8117) hosts an outdoor Rosé Soiree under a spreading oak tree behind the restaurant. Enjoy a selection of Rosé wines from around the world for $5 per glass, a menu of summery French-inspired street foods for $5 per plate, and live French jazz by Rumbullion. Tuesday, July 15, 6-9pm.
