Andiamo Ristorante (2521 Rutland, 719-3377) invites you to enjoy featured dishes from Italy's Piemonte region this week during their Passaporto D'Italia menu experience. Call the restaurant for more info on menu specials, monthly wine tastings, Italian language classes with Tina Polo, and announcements about the films featured in their Italian movie nights. There are several free events scheduled as part of artist Fritz Haeg's installation "Attack on the Front Lawn" at Arthouse at the Jones Center (700 Congress, 453-5312; www.arthousetexas.org). For example, this weekend offers a free workshop on making gardens for children, schools, and students presented by Garza Independence High School teacher Martha Cason. Saturday, Feb. 23, 3pm.

This month's UnWined Wednesday event at the Belmont (305 W. Sixth, 457-0300) features a free screening of the movie Sideways along with complimentary light appetizers in their Dakota Lounge. Current members can use their membership card for a 15% discount on food and drinks all evening, while folks interested in becoming new members can sign up that night. If you're curious to learn how beer can enhance the taste of a good meal, check out the Brewer's Dinner at North by Northwest Restaurant & Brewery (10010 Capital of TX Hwy. N., 467-6969; www.nxnwbrew.com). Chef George Powell will prepare a delicious five-course meal, and head brewer Ty Phelps will offer beer pairing instructions. $59 per person; reservations required.
