Harvest of a bountiful tomato crop has begun at Boggy Creek Farm (3414 Lyons Rd., 926-4650), and they'll celebrate with a Tomato Festival this weekend. Irish musician Jeff Moore will provide authentic Celtic music (9-10am), while folks shop for summer bounty, tour the farm, and visit with the famous denizens of the henhouse. Since Dad may prefer to sleep in or play golf on his special day this weekend, the folks at Patsy's Cowgirl Cafe (5001 E. Ben White, 444-2020) suggest you treat him to dinner on Saturday night. Chef Ric Gonzales has designed a special menu for the evening that pairs well with Chimay Red beer (dads gets a free beer glass to take home), and the Texas Swing Kings will be playing from 8 to 10pm with no cover.
