The Central Market Cooking School (4001 N. Lamar, 458-3068) hosts the second week of Kelly Ann Hargrove's popular Austin Music on the Menu series, which features a lineup of talented local musicians demonstrating their chops in the kitchen. Prices vary, and reservations are necessary.

The Farmers' Market Downtown ( moves back to its regular home just south of Republic Square Park at Fourth & Guadalupe this weekend. Shop for area organic produce and flowers and natural meats and cheeses, as well as local artisan food products; Saturday, March 10, 10am-1pm.

Carol Ann Sayle, India Rassner-Donovan, and venerable head hen Aunt Penny invite you to bring your lawn chair and your questions to their second Chicken Seminar.
