Funds raised in this program support SFC's socially responsive portfolio of programs, goods, and services that work to improve the health of children and families, to enhance our capacity for growing food, and to improve the economic health of farm families. With more than 30,000 Austin kids identified as possibly going without a hot meal most evenings, CAFB is always looking for individuals, businesses, or foundations willing to sponsor a Kid's Cafe hot dinner program. CAFB deputy director Dan Pruett is always eager to give tours of existing sites and explain what it takes to underwrite a Kid's Cafe.
