This Saturday, November 22, the Granite Cafe (2905 San Gabriel, #200, 472-8524) celebrates its 10th anniversary with a benefit for the Austin Children's Museum. The festivities begin at 7:30pm and include food, drinks, music by 81/2 Souvenirs and a neon art exhibit by Ben Livingston. Call the restaurant to purchase tickets... Jean-Luc's French Bistro touts the arrival of this year's Beaujolais Nouveau with a $19.95 prix fixe dinner Sunday & Monday, November 23 & 24, and the following week debuts a new menu with foie gras and sweetbreads... During November, Speakeasy (412-D Congress, 476-8017) will offer happy hour buffets from Thai Passion on Wednesdays, Tocai on Thursdays, and Gilligan's on Fridays to complement their wine tastings.
