What You Mean to Say Is ...

RECEIVED Wed., March 1, 2017

Dear Editor,
Considering the subject matter of this article [“Sexual Assault Advocates Demand Answers for Rape Kit Negligence,” News, March 1] I would think that you would be considerate enough to make your headline less ambiguous. Saying "Sexual Assault Advocates" makes it sound like they are advocates for sexual assault when you actually mean "sexual assault victims' advocates" or something similar. Please be more conscientious in the future.
