Re: "The Girl Who Met Robert Johnson" [Music, Aug. 3]: What a monumental story! I am stunned! Stunned and amazed, I tell you. Thank you, Chronicle, for bringing this story to the masses. She wants to come home to Texas? I've got a $100 bill to start a Bring Shirley Home Fund. Once she's back and is the toast of the town, we can start talking about a bronze statue. Holy moly. T-Bone Walker to Lightnin' Hopkins to Mance Lipscomb to Stevie Ray Vaughan and everyone in between? All blues fans must pass this story on to others. We've lost so much history and so many musicians over the years. We need to bring this woman home!
