Dear Editor, Gov. Perry recently voiced support of New York's right to support gay marriage. Not that he agrees with or supports gay marriage but supposedly because he supports states' rights and the 10th Amendment. Now, he's saying he supports a federal constitutional amendment to define marriage between a man and a woman. So, he supports the state's right to do something as long as the federal government can override it. Whether you support gay marriage or not, the issue is the blatant hypocrisy. Be careful who you vote for. Apparently, you'll never know what you are getting.
