Republicans: Who Cares?

RECEIVED Tue., Aug. 11, 2009

Dear Editor,
To the health-care protesters: Let me say, I don't care what Republicans think [“Health-Care Hysteria Dogs Doggett,” News, Aug. 7]. I don't care if you protest; I don't care if you disrupt town hall meetings. It makes no difference to me if you want to stand out in the heat on the Capitol steps and scream your lungs out. Good for you! You should have voted in better candidates in the last 10 years. However, you screwed the pooch and picked a bunch of assclowns.
To the Democrat-controlled Congress: We elected you to change some things. We put you in office to get some things done, including health care. If the Republicans want to disrupt public meetings, then stop having them! I don't care what they have to say, and you shouldn't either. They did not vote for you, and they aren't going to vote for you next time! Let me think … nope, they didn't ask for my opinion on the deregulation! Let them bitch and moan, and maybe next time they will put up better candidates.
