Dear Editor,
Tigger Banks says it's irresponsible to say the Lebanese are being used as "human shields." The Israelis are acting no better than the terrorists we're fighting worldwide. How does any real American justify killing "fleeing" civilian women and children? Labeling them "shields"?
We're delivering precision 5,000-lb. bombs to Israel while they target Lebanese homes, neighborhoods, and hospitals, labeled "strongholds.” Isn't that what we're accusing Iran of doing with Syria ... supplying them? Well, isn't it? We've been caught lying, torturing, raping, and murdering in Iraq, and yet we wonder why the rest of the Middle East wants nothing to do with our democracy? How can we justify spending billions a year on Israel, when they spend it on killing civilians like we accused Saddam of doing?
Didn't Bush just say using embryos was "murder"? Is this the man who also says he wants to preserve life? That is the very definition of the word hypocrite. Our borders have never been secured since 9/11, and we've brought about an Iraqi civil war! We have destabilized the entire Middle East, and we still haven't attacked the Saudis (responsible for 15 of the 19 hijackers). We instead attacked Iraq, a beaten country with no Navy and no WMD while North Korea and Iran have built up their arsenals.
But let's not forget that this administration says we're spreading democracy(?). Who wants their country to look like Iraq right now? By the way, where are my tax dollars going?
