Thanks for 2005's Austin State Hospital Story

RECEIVED Wed., May 31, 2006

Dear Editor,
Re: Your May 27, 2005 Austin State Hospital cemetery story [“In Memoriam,” News]: I thank you so much for this story. My grandfather (whom I never met) died at Austin State Hospital (year unknown), and no one ever knew what happened to him. His name was Robert Luther Shults (Shultz, Schultz, etc). His spouse's name was Gertrude. I hope to be able to find information about him from the information and people listed in your story. Isn't it interesting to learn that a story you published is a treasured piece of information to unlocking the secret, forgotten past of someone's life? Thanks so much for doing this story back in 2005. I will let you know as time passes, what information I find out about my lost grandfather.
