Alex Jones Is Right!

RECEIVED Tue., July 19, 2005

Mr. Black,
I moved to Austin five years ago. When I first stumbled upon Alex Jones (as well as George Humphrey, Bob Dacy, etc.) on access TV, I, like a good Nation-reading liberal, dismissed him as one of those bombastic conspiracy cranks I'd been warned about. But a few months after 9/11, I decided to look into his links and sources myself, certain that he could easily be debunked. I was wrong. After doing my own research, I was forced to come to the only conclusion possible: On the issue of 9/11 at least, Jones is right! There is no way 9/11 could have happened without our own government's involvement. Unfortunately, due to the omnipresent Jones, Austinites like yourself have come to associate any such conspiracy discussion with a conservative Christian ideology. Thus, something to be ignored or ridiculed. What you fail to notice is that many prominent liberals around the country have independently arrived at the same conclusion Jones has, and are actively trying to expose this very real conspiracy (please see www.911truth.org). Now even Air America host Janeane Garofalo has expressed her belief that the Bush administration orchestrated 9/11 on-air many times.
This issue is not some joke that can be so callously dismissed, as you and King have done. Lives are literally at stake here. Because if we allow this criminal government to get away with 9/11, a textbook false-flag operation, they'll do it again. And Austin could be the next city to fall victim. When you and King thrust your heads into the sand on this issue, you do everyone a disservice. And you're doing exactly what you accuse the "conspiracy theorists" of: making a closed-minded dogmatic assumption prior to objective investigation.

[Editor's response: Excuse us but what did you say? We couldn't read because our heads were stuck in the sand. Or, maybe, we've actually read some of the documentation and find it to be the usual conspiracy theorists' accumulation of every bit of information that supports their thesis. If the Bush administration did this - how many people would be involved? None of them would talk? Actually I bet we soon start seeing lists of Bush administration members who have died in mysterious ways with the suggestion they are being done in by Clinton so they couldn't reveal the goods on Vince Foster.]
