Dear Editor, My mother, Debra Baker, was murdered Jan. 13, 1988. As we grow closer to the 18th anniversary of her death, my family is turning to the public once again for help in finding the person responsible. There must be someone with information regarding her death. We have not given up hope. We are asking for help from the Chronicle to put my mother's story into the public eye.
[Editor's note: A summary of Debra Baker's case, along with other unsolved Austin homicides, is available on the APD Web site at www.ci.austin.tx.us/police/unsolved.htm.]
