Celebrating Fellini

RECEIVED Tue., Dec. 7, 2004

Dear Editor,
I just discovered your poignant essay while adding Fellini + Texas on Google ["Letters@3am," Sept. 3, 1999]. I live in Fort Worth and I have the largest archive of Fellini memorabilia, maybe, in the U.S. I'm working to bring all 24 of Fellini's films here for a retrospective, and I send out a monthly Fellini News Update e-mail to a bunch of folks. I found your essay very touching and right on target, and I could relate to much of it. Fellini-esque images passed through my mind while reading your story. Matter of fact, La Dolce Vita is playing on the big screen in Dallas this week where I will go by hook or by crook.
The character named George intrigued me. Can you tell me more about him? He must be quite a guy from what you wrote. Anyway, I just wanted to say thanks for the essay. As often happens, my search for Fellini leads me down some interesting side roads. Well done!
