Dear Editor: As a previously undecided voter living deep in the heart of Texas, I was reassured by John Edwards' ability to stand up to Cheney. Edwards showed that a long résumé is not a prerequisite for being able to serve our country. Edwards spoke eloquently and with warmth, seeming even more presidential than Bush himself. Cheney, while grumpy, did a better job explaining the administration's positions than Bush did; but this only showed me as a voter that I cannot agree with where the Bush-Cheney administration has led this country as a whole.
Sincerely, Troy Wise
