Swanson Insists Moore Registered to Vote in Two States, the Equal of What Happened in Florida in 2002, Plus (I Think) if You're Against the War You Champion Every Word Michael Moore Utters

RECEIVED Fri., July 2, 2004

Dear Editor,
Man, I feel so dumb. After all the complaints in this paper by readers, contributing writers, and the editor about how the last election was "stolen," I would have thought that the integrity of the ballot and election laws were important to those individuals. Apparently not, though; I guess I was duped. I guess when Michael Moore violates federal election laws by being registered to vote in two places at once, it's OK, though. And just to address a caption ["Postmarks Online," June 25], I wasn't speaking about Rush or O'Reilly, I don't listen to AM radio, and I don't have cable TV. I wasn't aware that comparing apples to oranges was OK now, I think I got toasted in another caption a few weeks ago for the same thing. If the editor could tell me where Rush's movie is playing, I'll go see it. By the way, liberal hero Richard Clarke himself is claiming Moore is lying in his movie. Now go attack Clarke.
