Dear Chronicle,
I wanted to thank you and Mr. Hernandez for bringing attention to the recent Johnny Rivers concert at the Riverbend Centre ["Recommended," Music, Feb. 20]. Rock legends like Mr. Rivers get absorbed and are often neglected. His music is one of the few bonds my much older brother and I have. Going back to when I used to sneak his "Secret Agent Man" 8-track out of his Olds. Johnny's music helped us bridge our generation gap that night. Thanks again for promoting the gigs.
