The 24th annual Austin Museum Day is a free celebration of art, culture, history, music, nature, and science – with a day's worth of special programming, including guided and self-guided exhibition tours, creative activities, and more, for visitors of all ages. There are more than 20 repositories of human achievement participating this year: The Austin Nature & Science Center, the Asian American Resource Center, the Blanton Museum of Art, the Brush Square museums, the Contemporary Austin, the Elisabet Ney Museum, Mexic-Arte Museum, Women & Their Work, and – oh! There are so many opportunities for cultural entertainment and edification around Austin this day! And, again, it's all free to attend. You live in this city, right? Here's a chance to get to know some of the truest treasures it holds. See website for details.
